Rural school buses cancelled as fog warning issued Wednesday across region
Buses will operate in the afternoon
Environment Canada issued a fog advisory for the London area and southwestern Ontario Wednesday morning as commuters travelled treacherous roads to their early destinations.
A number of rural school buses in the London area, including in Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties, were cancelled with police warning that the fog blanketing the region would require extra travel time.
Ontario Provincial Police were also issuing warnings to drivers, with some crashes reported in counties west of London.
