Pop-up restaurant draws 1,200 Winnipeggers outside for dinner

Sitting at 150 tables of eight, an impressive number of Winnipeggers enjoyed a meal outside Saturday night as part of StorefrontMB's popular event Table For 1200 More.
This year's surprise location was along Waterfront Drive and featured food prepared by Deer+Almond chefs Mandel Hitzer and Ben Kramer.
The guests were encouraged to wear white to "provide a truly unique and magical visual dimension to the evening," according to the event's website.
StorefrontMB's mandate is to raise awareness about the value of architecture, design and urbanism.
