Police have arrested a man after two women were sexually assaulted on Winnipeg Transit buses Labour Day Monday.

One woman reported she was approached by a man and groped on a bus in the Portage Avenue and Balmoral Street area Monday around 10 a.m. She moved seats and reported the sexual assault to police.
A little over two hours later, another woman was groped while travelling on a bus down Portage Avenue. The victim called police and they responded to the Polo Park area.
Police then arrested a 54-year-old man who fit descriptions given by both victims.
The suspect is facing two charges of sexual assault and was released on a promise to appear in court.
