Armed robbery prompts police search in Winnipeg's south Osborne area

Police are searching Winnipeg's south Osborne area following an armed robbery inside an apartment building.

Part of Clare Avenue, across from Jubilee Avenue, is blocked by police cruisers and an apartment building is surrounded in police tape.

A police spokesperson said the call came in just before 8 a.m. about a gunpoint robbery.

There are no injuries but police are searching for the suspect, who ran from the building.
