A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with a string of sexual assaults and indecent acts that took place Tuesday in downtown Winnipeg.
The incidents happened between 4 and 5 p.m., from the corner of Portage Avenue and Main Street to the University of Winnipeg.
The man was found downtown on Thursday evening and arrested. He is charged with seven counts of performing an indecent act, two counts of sexual assault, robbery and assault.
No more detailed information about where he was found was provided by police.
Earlier this week, police said a man entered a restaurant on Portage Avenue, made sexual comments to female staff and exposed himself. The staff got him out of the store and called police.
After that, a woman walking in the Skywalk on Portage Avenue was approached by a man who exposed himself, while two other women, in separate incidents, said a man touched them in a sexual and inappropriate manner.
Additionally, two women walking on the U of W campus were confronted by a man who exposed himself and assaulted them before he ran off.
