Body found at Pembina Valley Provincial Park ID'd as Travis Sukkau
Manitoba RCMP have confirmed the body of a person found in Pembina Valley Provincial Park is that of Travis Sukkau, a 19-year-old Winkler man who was reported missing there last week.
Sukkau was supposed to spend just the day in the park on Thursday. He was reported missing by family when he did not return as planned, and a police search began.
Both the family and the RCMP said on Monday that a body was found in the Pembina Valley Provincial Park, but the identity of the body was not confirmed.

Late Wednesday, RCMP confirmed that the body is that of Sukkau.
Police gave no further details, saying the investigation into his death continues.
Sukkau's father, David, posted a column addressed to Travis on Facebook called "Goodbye for now," along with a photo from Travis's photo album.
