A 27-year-old woman and her one-year-old daughter, who were last seen walking along Highway 1 near Indian Head, Sask., on Friday, have been found after a joint effort by police in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
RCMP officers in both provinces had been looking for the woman and her child on either side of the border, as she is known to visit both Brandon, Man., and Moosomin, Sask., regularly.
The pair were last spotted walking east along the highway just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday, a Saturday afternoon news release from Saskatchewan RCMP said.
On Saturday night, police said the woman had been located and thanked the public for their help finding her.
