The mannequin challenge has been sweeping the internet, with everyone from athletes to First Lady Michelle Obama freezing in place.

However, comedian Dane Cook and a Winnipeg crowd of more than 2,000 may have just topped them all.

On Friday, during a show at the Centennial Concert Hall, nearly everyone in the building helped create what could be the largest mannequin challenge yet.

The video starts behind the scenes, with music playing in the background. It then moves onto the stage, where Cook and the crowd stand unmoving. Finally, Cook yells "yeah" and the crowd erupts in cheers.

Posting about the event on Facebook, Cook said he was doing the stunt to promote awareness about ALS, commonly called Lou Gehrig's disease.

"This is the first #mannequinchallenge at a comedy show with the largest crowd yet," Cook wrote.
