CBC Manitoba launches new daily podcast

CBC's Marcy Markusa will be hosting This is Manitoba, a new daily podcast connecting you to the day's most important stories, in 20 minutes or less. Marcy has been at CBC Manitoba for over 20 years and has lived and worked in the City of Winnipeg and in rural Manitoba. She has dug into the stories of countless Manitobans, from up in Churchill to the border in Emerson. 

"People don't have time to waste…but they care about making our home better…and they want to be engaged in their province. This is Manitoba will get people plugged into what's going on here and we will get into the news that needs to be better understood and challenged," says Marcy. "We hope people listen to the podcast, and feel like they had a satisfying chat or debate with a neighbour on their sidewalk about real things that matter in their lives every day."  

Alongside Marcy will be CBC'ers and fellow Manitobans Cory Funk and Abi Adeyemi who will add their own perspectives as we dig into the stories of the day. Cory is an associate producer and show director, and Abi is an audio technician and music programmer.
