Famous actors who have filmed movies in Winnipeg
CBC's graphics department brings you a list of big-name Hollywood actors who've graced Winnipeg over the past decade or so to film movies.

If you missed this week's big screen news: Actor Dennis Quaid is coming to Winnipeg to film a movie. A Dog's Purpose, based on a New York Times bestseller, will be shooting in Winnipeg August through October and is hoping to pay about 2,000 people from in and around the city to fill in as extras.
The announcement prompted CBC's graphics department to reflect on all of the big-name Hollywood actors who've graced this prairie city in the past decade or so to film movies. This, admittedly incomplete, list includes Rénee Zellweger, Brad Pitt and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
