About two to three centimetres of snow is expected to fall in Winnipeg this morning and afternoon. The mercury is expected to rise to –11 C during the day.
All that snow will be blown around by southwesterly winds gusting up to 60 kilometres an hour, says CBC weather specialist Marilyn Maki.
Conditions will clear up late in the afternoon, but another four to five centimetres of snow will fall on Wednesday, she said.
The daytime high for Wednesday will be around –16 C.
