Three men are wanted in connection with a shooting on a Manitoba First Nation two weeks ago, police say.
Gregory James Lee Spence, Jesse Myles St. Paul and Keith Douglas Racette are all wanted for their alleged roles in the shooting on Jan. 3 on Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, the Manitoba First Nations Police Service said in a Thursday news release.
All three have been charged with breaking and entering and aggravated assault.
Spence, 36, has also been charged with uttering threats, pointing a gun and several other firearms and weapons offences.
Racette, 28, and St. Paul, 31, have also been charged with possession of a weapon.
Police originally issued an alert one day after the shooting on Ridge Road N. in Sandy Bay, about 120 kilometres northeast of Brandon.
Multiple people went into a home and assaulted a male victim, according to police. Shots were fired and the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his lower body, the First Nations police service said in a news release at the time.
The victim was airlifted to hospital and was in stable condition, the Jan. 4 news release said.
