Horse-drawn buggy, antique tricycles stolen from Shoal Lake farm
Stolen buggy dates back to around 1927, while tricycles are from 1940s, say police

RCMP in southwestern Manitoba want your help with what they're calling an "old-school robbery" — the theft of a horse-drawn buggy and two antique tricycles from a farm property near Shoal Lake.
The buggy, which is believed to have been from around 1927, and the two 1940s-era tricycles were taken from a shop on the property sometime between Dec. 29 and Jan. 6.
The owners were not at the property during that time and discovered the items were missing when they came back, an RCMP spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said the stolen items are unique for investigators and valuable for the owners, so they're hoping someone will see the buggy and/or the tricycles and call the Hamiota RCMP detachment.
Shoal Lake is about 30 kilometres north of Hamiota and more than 100 kilometres northwest of Brandon, Man.
