Manitoba RCMP are asking for the public's help in the investigation of human remains found in the rural municipality of Rockwood.

Officers were called around to a house off Highway 7 just north of Winnipeg last Thursday, where the unidentified human remains were found.

After searching the property, RCMP say they are now looking for a grey 2007 Saturn Ion with Manitoba licence plate HGL 773, according to a Monday news release.

Police believe the vehicle was removed from the property at some point in the last month.

The death is still considered suspicious and remains under investigation, the release said.
