Girl,12, last seen in Winnipeg's Silver Heights area has been found: Police
A 12-year-old girl who was last seen in Winnipeg in early June has been found, city police said on Sunday.
Girl had last been seen more than a month ago on June 8 around 10:30 p.m.
A 12-year-old girl who was last seen in Winnipeg in early June has been found, city police said on Sunday.
Before she was found, Winnipeg police said the girl had been seen in Silver Heights about 10:30 p.m. on June 8. Officials said she may have been in Dauphin and Brandon, where she is known to visit.
Around 9 p.m. on Sunday, police said in a news release that the girl was safely located.
CBC News has removed the girl's name and image to protect her privacy now that she has been found.
