Missing for 6 months: Chris Guimond's family wants answers
Chris Guimond, 48, is one of only two 'longer term' missing person files from 2015
It has been six months since Christopher Guimond, 48, went missing from Winnipeg and his family is desperate for answers.
"The first thing on my mind when I open my eyes is my son," Dorothy Starr, Guimond's mother, told CBC News.
"It's hell not knowing."
The last reported sighting of Guimond was when he got off a southbound bus alone at the intersection of Pembina Highway and Plaza Drive at approximately 10:30 p.m. on April 7, Winnipeg police say.

Starr says RCMP in Ontario have also been involved in searching areas around Thunder Bay where Guimond worked as a fishing guide but so far nothing has turned up.
"I'm trying to raise funds to put out a reward for him," Starr said adding she has reached out to band members at Sakgeeng First Nation where she is from for help.
"I'm just trying to take one day at a time. I just don't know what to think any more."
Chris Guimond is one of Winnipeg police's only two "longer term" missing persons files from this year. The other is Thelma Krull.
Starr says she and her daughter continue to search areas around her home near the University of Manitoba.
When she isn't actively searching, she spends her days waiting.
"I'm usually just sitting at McDonald's hoping to see him come walking [after getting off] the bus."
"That's where I used to meet him when he'd get off work," she said.
Guimond is five feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds. He has heavy build and short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black spring jacket, grey hoodie, blue jeans and brown runners.
