Woman reported last seen in December in Winnipeg has been found safe: police

Winnipeg police say a woman missing for well over a month has been located and is safe.

The 28-year-old had last been seen on Dec. 14 in the area of Inkster Boulevard and Powers Street in north Winnipeg, police said in a new release on Jan. 10.

Police announced in an updated news release on Monday that she was found. No information was provided on when or where.

A previous version of this story included the woman's name and photograph. Those have been removed now that she is no longer missing.
