2 arrested after stabbing outside downtown Winnipeg hotel

Police tape surrounds part of a downtown Winnipeg hotel following an early-morning stabbing that sent one person to hospital.

Police were called to the hotel, at the corner of Ellice Avenue and Carlton Street, around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

A number of people were involved in the violence and two people have been arrested, police said. No charges have yet been laid.

The person who was stabbed is listed in stable condition.
