Rapid transit route opposed by Winnipeg residents

Some Winnipeggers want to convince the city to reroute phase two of rapid transit.

The city wants to put the expanded corridor through an area just south of the so-called Parker lands, west of Pembina Highway.

More than 100 people met last night saying the area may house an endangered ecosystem and animals. It wants an environmental study done on the area before the city goes forward.
