Second contender for Manitoba Liberal leadership makes it official

Dougald Lamont has made it official. He filed his papers to become a contender for the leadership of the Manitoba Liberal Party Wednesday.

The long-time Liberal runs a communications consultancy and ad agency.

Lamont said his main focus is to create better paying jobs for Manitobans.

He joins Winnipeg lawyer Rana Bokhari in the race Liberal leader in Manitoba.

The leadership convention is set for Oct. 26 in Winnipeg.
