Police have arrested three people in connection with the killing of Warren Stewart Nabess in the city's North End on Friday morning.

Officers were called to a house at 225 Selkirk Ave., just west of Main Street, around 4:45 a.m.

Officers found Nabess, 52, outside the home with blunt-force trauma injuries. He was quickly sent to hospital, but died.

Robert Terry Williams-Stove, 19, and Eric Justin Sinclair, 38, have been charged with second-degree murder, while a 15-year-old is charged with accessory after the fact to murder and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Police accuse the two men of assaulting Nabess inside the home, while the 15-year-old is accused of dragging him outside and trying to clean up the scene.

The assault involved physical blows and the use of other weapons, but was not a stabbing, Murray said.

Police believe all four were involved in the drug trade, Const. Jay Murray said.

"For lack of a better term, it was a crack shack," Murray said about the house.

"At the end of the day, I want to recognize that he was the victim of a homicide. Regardless of the circumstances, no one should be the victim of a homicide."

The house was surrounded by police tape Friday morning, with blood on the front steps.
