Winnipeg police, still seeking to identify a woman whose body was found in the Red River in June, have released a sketch of what they believe she looked like.

The body was discovered on June 15 by someone who noticed a black plastic garbage bag floating in the water not far from the North Perimeter Bridge.

Four days later, the police revealed the body was that of a woman but said homicide was not suspected because an autopsy revealed no signs of foul play.

The woman believed to be between 35 and 50 years old, and about five feet and six inches tall with a slim build.

She may have also worn dentures, police said.

Photos of jewelry the woman was wearing were previously released by police in hopes it might help identify her.
