Swan River woman dead following single-vehicle crash: RCMP

A Swan River woman has died after a single-vehicle rollover in the village of Bowsman, Man., about 380 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, near the Saskatchewan border.

A Swan River woman has died after a single-vehicle rollover in the village of Bowsman, Man., about 380 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, near the Saskatchewan border. 

On Sunday morning, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a single vehicle rollover on River Avenue, police said in a news release Thursday. 

Officers found three women at the scene. Two passengers, age 19 and 22, got out of the vehicle on their own and were treated for minor physical injuries, police said. 

The 36-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle and was taken to hospital in critical condition, police said. She died of her injuries. 

Swan River RCMP said officials are still investigating with the help of a forensic collision reconstruction expert.
