Craft beer is now on tap at The Forks Market.
The new beer and wine kiosk began serving customers at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Beer is available by the glass or in tasting flights. The drink list is curated by Toronto-based William Predhomme, a professional sommelier.
The new kiosk is part of a $2.8 million renovation underway at The Forks aiming to refresh the space and attract new customers.
The Forks is still looking for three additional food vendors to open up in the renovated space and a tenant to run a micro-brewery. Once it opens, a spokesperson said the new kiosk will serve beer from the micro-brewery.
Summer hours for the wine and beer kiosk begin Thursday, June 16, and are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Saturday to Wednesday, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
