Additional tickets for the Tragically Hip concert in Winnipeg sold out in minutes on Tuesday.
Due to overwhelming demand the band adjusted the stage design to accommodate more seating when the group performs its farewell tour in Winnipeg on August 5.
An extra block of tickets for the show at the MTS Centre went on sale through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. but shortly after the tickets were sold out.
More seats were added after as overwhelming demand for the band's Man Machine Poem tour when lead singer Gord Downie announced last month he has terminal cancer.
Many fans hoping to see to that farewell tour were disappointed and frustrated after the tickets sold out quickly and then appearing minutes later at a massive markup on resale sites.
There was a two ticket limit per person when tickets went on sale again on Tuesday.
