United Way Winnipeg introduces new CEO
Matthew Cutler to start leading charity in August

A new face is set to lead United Way Winnipeg.
Matthew Cutler will take over as the 60-year-old Winnipeg charity's new president and CEO, a news release said Wednesday. He starts the job on Aug. 11.
Cutler, a public service executive with over two decades of experience, previously worked for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and as an assistant deputy minister with the provincial government's communications and engagement department.
He's currently board chair at Rainbow Resource Centre, board director for Clan Mothers Healing Village and a volunteer and board trustee with United Way, the release says.
Geeta Tucker, who chairs United Way Winnipeg's board of trustees, said in the release that Cutler will bring "a rare combination of heart, strategy and integrity" to the organization.
