Tough loss for Jets, memorable moment for Ladd

The Winnipeg Jets fell to the Dallas Stars for the fourth time this season Tuesday night at the MTS Centre.
Winnipeg scored twice in the second frame to tie the game, but the Stars shot back, scoring three in the third for the win and snapping a three-game losing skid in the process.
Much of the conversation ahead of the Tuesday night game was surrounding pending free agent and potential trade target Andrew Ladd.
If Ladd gets dealt before the looming deadline, the game against Dallas could turn out to be his last in a Jets Jersey at the MTS Centre. Ladd scored a shorthanded goal near the end of the second; it was his fourth goal in three games.
Jets fans gave their captain a standing ovation.

After the game, Ladd said it was a special moment and that he has appreciated the support from fans the entire time he and his family have been in Winnipeg. When asked if he would be open to resigning in Winnipeg even if he was traded at the NHL trade deadline, Ladd said he would always be open to anything.
