Winnipeg's Louise Bridge to close Friday for repairs
The Louise Bridge will be closed to drivers for more than six hours on Friday as workers repair bearings on the century-old bridge.
Bridge will remain open for morning, evening rush hour, but close from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Louise Bridge will be closed to drivers for more than six hours on Friday as workers repair bearings on the century-old bridge.
The bridge, which crosses the Red River between Point Douglas and Elmwood, is scheduled to close from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
It will still be open for the morning and evening rush periods, the city said in a news release. The bridge's west sidewalk will remain open for pedestrians throughout the day.
Drivers can cross the river using the Provencher Bridge or Disraeli Bridges during the closure.
