Intersection in Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood cordoned off for police investigation
Officers say they have no information at this time, but there's no risk to public safety

A stretch of a residential strip in Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood was cordoned off for a police investigation.
Yellow police tape was placed around the intersection between Dundurn Place and Walnut Street, just north of Wolseley Avenue, on Sunday.
Officers were at the scene just past 1 p.m., with some of them seen knocking on doors in the area.
A spokesperson for Winnipeg Police told initially told CBC on Sunday they have no information to provide at this time, but there is no risk to public safety.
On Monday, a Winnipeg Police spokesperson said in a written statement the area was canvassed following neighbourhood concerns about blood on the roadway, however no victim has come forward or been identified with an injury at this time. Police continue to investigate.
