Third year in a row for choreographed zombie dance to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'
Covered in blood and with fake limbs dangling loosely, about 50 zombies gathered under the canopy at The Forks in Winnipeg on Sunday to spook and thrill people in the area.
The zombies broke out in a choreographed, flash-mob dance to Michael Jackson's hit song, "Thriller."
It marked the third time the zombie flash-mob has happened in Winnipeg. It's organized by Zumba dance instructor Karla Mozdzen and her class. The group gets together each year on the Sunday before Halloween to freak out and delight people on the street.
CBC's Chris Glover was there and while it was fun to watch the dance itself, he reported it was even better to watch people's reactions.
"I can't tell if he's going to cry or laugh or scream or maybe all three," Glover reported after seeing a six-year-old boy in the crowd.
From The Forks, the zombies moved to the River Avenue and Osborne Street intersection before arriving at St. Vital Mall at about 3:30 p.m.
