Police say three people in their 20s have been stabbed after a rush-hour altercation at McGill Metro station.

Police say injuries not life threatening

Police say three people in their 20s have been stabbed after a rush-hour altercation at McGill Metro station.

None of the injuries are life-threatening.

Police arrived at the scene at 6:45 p.m. ET to find blood on the floor but no victims or assailants.

They later found two victims in hospital and a third at Berri-UQAM Metro station. No arrests have been made.

Parts of McGill Metro were closed to the public early this evening as police worked to piece together what happened.

According to witnesses, an altercation degenerated between two groups of people.

Police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage to determine what happened.
