Commuters waiting for an AMT train on Monday afternoon experienced delays, as trains on three lines were running late after a truck hit an overpass on Guy Street.

The crash, which happened at around 3:15 p.m., forced service to be halted while inspectors examined the structure.

The inspection affected service on three lines — Vaudreuil-Hudson, Staint-Jérôme and Candiac.

Once the inspection was complete at around 4 p.m., service gradually resumed at Lucien-L'Allier station in downtown Montreal.

Trains were running up to 30 minutes late.

Frustrated commuters noticed and vented on social media.
