Star goaltender out for at least six weeks, won't need surgery
News that Carey Price will be sidelined for at least six weeks with a lower-body injury understandably didn't sit well with Habs fans — though some tried to put a positive spin on the development.

Price's injury was met with despair from many Habs fans. But on CBC Montreal's Facebook page, some tried to find the silver lining.

Not everybody thinks the news is that dire, with one fan pointing out that backup Mike Condon has played well.
<a href="https://twitter.com/CanadiensMTL">@CanadiensMTL</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/CP0031">@CP0031</a> This team is strong and resilient and will do just fine without Price. Let him recover in time for the playoffs.

Another suggested Price would now have the time to dress up as Santa Claus, with his injured teammate Brendan Gallagher helping out as well.
Does this mean Carey Price gets to play Santa at the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Habs?src=hash">#Habs</a> XMas party? And of course <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Gally?src=hash">#Gally</a> is his top shelf Elf! 🏩
