CBC Montreal's morning radio show Daybreak is broadcasting live from a café in Old Montreal this morning to celebrate the city's 375th anniversary.

Host Mike Finnerty and the Daybreak team are at Crew Collective & Café at 360 St-Jacques Street, in the former headquarters of the Royal Bank of Canada.

The café will be open to the public from 6 a.m. for the event, and people are welcome to stop in and meet Mike, traffic reporter Monique Lacombe, sports reporter Jessica Rusnak, writer-broadcaster Shari Okeke and columnist Brendan Kelly.

The show's guests include singer Kim Richardson, who will stop before heading off to perform at Bonne Fête Montréal and Eric Fournier, one of the people behind the lighting of the Jacques Cartier bridge.

Daybreak will also welcome Kahnawake councillor Chief Christine Zachary-Deom and musician, actor and local radio show host Gage Diabo, who will discuss what Montreal's 375th anniversary means to Mohawks.

Shari Okeke will bring you the story of the Coloured Women's Club of Montreal, founded in 1902, and Brendan Kelly will bring you a few of Montreal's top music moments.
