Four people are recovering after noxious fumes entered their house as they tried to prepare the family swimming pool in eastern Quebec.
Reports say a woman was trying to dilute chlorine in a container of hot water in her Lévis home Tuesday evening for use in the pool.
That set off a chemicle reaction that unleashed chlorine gas into the home.
The woman and her three children were all taken to hospital suffering from nausea, dizziness and throat irritation.
Firefighters responded quickly and were able to get the family to the hospital and air out the house.
