The official opposition at Montreal city hall is now called Mouvement Montréal.

Interim leader Lionel Perez made the announcement today. 

The party was formerly named after its previous leader, Denis Coderre, but Coderre left politics after he lost the election last month.

The official opposition has 25 of 65 seats on city council.
