Every year, CBC picks a children's book and organizes a contest between Montreal schools. The winning school gets copies of the book and a visit from the author.

This year CBC chose Branded by the Pink Triangle by Ken Setterington, a former librarian and the first Children and Youth Advocate for the Toronto Public Library.
