This Sunday, the current building for the Montreal Chest Institute will close its doors after its remaining inpatients are moved to the Glen site.

Even with the excitement about the MUHC's state-of-the-art equipment and accommodations awaiting patients and staff members, there is a palpable feeling of nostalgia running through the halls of the St-Urbain Street building.

CBC News spoke to the long-time chair of the Montreal Chest Institute Foundation, Joan Ivory, and site director Dr. Ron Olivenstein about the Chest Institute's storied past and future.
