Park Ave. disrupted until December
Montreal's Park Avenue will remain under construction until at least the end of the calendar year, city officials say.

The street will be ripped up between Villeneuve Street and Laurier Avenue to replace aging water main and sewer pipes.
Repairs are scheduled to start Sept. 19.
The work will affect traffic on the street.
One lane will be open in each direction between Sept. 19 and Sept. 25.
From Sept. 26 until December, one northbound lane will remain open, with a second northbound lane opening only during afternoon rush-hour, from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Southbound traffic on Park will be rerouted to St. Urbain Street.
Police officers will monitor the intersection at Park and Laurier Avenues.
