Nothing on the calendar this weekend? Homerun's arts reporter Pierre Landry has scoped the schedules for you and has five shows you won't want to miss!

Every Friday, CBC Montreal’s Homerun arts reporter Pierre Landry brings you the top five things to see and do in Montreal this weekend.

Here are his picks for March 1, 2 and 3:

1. Eric Bibb and Habib Koité at L'Astral Friday night. An evening filled with American blues, folk and African roots music to gear you up for the weekend ahead. Take your pick of the 7 p.m. or 10 p.m. show.

2. It's the last weekend of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain at La Tohu. Top acrobats and circus performers from around the world present a show for all ages. Shows start Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. and at 2 p.m. Sunday.

3. David Usher gives a free outdoor concert in front of Place des Arts on Saturday at 8 p.m. as part of Montréal en Lumière. Known for his electrifying performances, Usher is sure to draw an impressive crowd!

4. Planning on pulling an all-nighter on Saturday? La Nuit Blanche takes place all over Montreal! This year, there are more than 185 activities above and below ground.

5. Sugar Sammy is one of Montreal's funniest comics. Last year, he impressed Quebec audiences with You're Gonna Rire (a show en franglais). This time, Sammy presents En français SVP! at 8 p.m. Saturday at l'Olympia.

Tune in to CBC Montreal's Homerun from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday to hear Pierre Landry's coverage of Montreal's artistic pulse.
