The Front commun, a coalition of Quebec unions from the public sector, is holding surprise protest actions all day Wednesday.

The actions are in line with the rotating strike mandate adopted by several Quebec labour federations and unions.

Protesters were occupying the KPMG accounting firm in downtown Montreal Wednesday morning. Montreal police were also reportedly in the building.

The CSN, FTQ and SISP are expecting over 400 participants.
