Quebec voters head to advance polls

Quebec residents can cast advance ballots on Sunday, ahead of the province's Nov. 1 municipal election.

Advance polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. ET in all municipalities.

Some regions will also hold advance polls on Monday.

Voters must show identification, such as a health-insurance card or driver's licence, before being allowed to vote.

Voters can consult the province's elections office website to find their local polling station.
