Rosemont collision leaves pedestrian in critical condition

A 59-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a car Thursday night in the Rosemont neighbourhood.

A 59-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital after he was hit by a car Thursday night in the Rosemont neighbourhood.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Rosemont Boulevard and de Lorimier Avenue.

Montreal police say the man appeared to be crossing north on de Lorimier Avenue when a driver going west on Rosemont Boulevard struck him.

The driver of the vehicle was a 23-year-old woman. She was not hurt. 

Police are investigating to determine what happened.
