2 motorcyclists in critical condition after crash in Bellechasse region
Truck drove into opposite lane, colliding with man and woman on the same bike

Two motorcyclists are fighting for their lives after being hit by a truck in Saint-Nazaire-de-Dorchester, in the Bellechasse region, southeast of Quebec City.
Five motorcycles were heading westbound on Highway 216 around 2 p.m. Saturday when a truck travelling in the opposite direction moved into their lane, according to preliminary information.
The truck struck a motorcycle that was carrying a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s, seriously injuring both.
They are in critical condition at the hospital.
Another motorcyclist suffered minor injuries after trying to avoid impact with the truck.
The driver of the truck was slightly injured.
Sgt. Claude Denis, with Sûreté du Québec, confirmed a reconstructionist was at the scene of the accident.
Highway 216 is currently closed to traffic to allow provincial police to conduct an investigation.
