Sharon and Bram bring Skinnamarink to Montreal one last time

Children's entertainers Sharon and Bram brought their singalong to Montreal's Theatre Maisonneuve as part of their farewell tour.

Parents say nostalgia brought them to the farewell concert

"I think it was more for us than the kids, honestly."

Anna Giannini says going to see Sharon and Bram play at the Theatre Maisonneuve was a dream come true. She even brought her kids along.

Her cousin agrees.

"It was our favourite show as a kid so it was quite nice to share this with our kids," said Adriana Giannini.

The children's entertainers Sharon Hampson and Bram Morrison stopped by Montreal as part of their farewell tour.

Once performing in the famous Canadian trio know as Sharon, Lois & Bram, the two are saying goodbye after more than 40 years making music together.

Their partner, Lois Lilienstein, died in 2015 after a cancer diagnosis.

"I'm just so happy to be back in Montreal," Sharon told the crowd.

Then they got everyone singing along to favourites such as Peanut Butter and Jelly, One Elephant and, of course, Skinnamarink.

"I think it's the songs that carry throughout. It's fun for the kids and they are catchy," said Angela Yeboah, there with her son.

"It's something that you'll always remember for your entire life, like Skinnamarink. I think it'll go down as one of their best songs."
