Sina Parsi homicide: Police now say pair may be headed for B.C.
Sabrina Chouart, 27, and Clyde Marshall, 36, are wanted for Sina Parsi's first-degree murder
Montreal police have asked people to be on the lookout for two suspects in the Toronto killing of Sina Parsi, 32, last week, however, Toronto police now say the pair may be headed west.
Sabrina Chouart, 27, originally from Gatineau, Que. and Clyde Marshall, 36, of New Brunswick are wanted for first-degree murder in Parsi's death.
A video released by Toronto police Monday shows a man and a woman with a large brown dog walking down the hall of the eighth floor of the Toronto apartment building where police say Parsi's body was discovered three days after he was reported missing.
Police said they believed the pair was travelling with the dog and was likely hitchhiking rather than using the train or bus because of the animal.
But the dog was later found abandoned in Toronto, and police now say Couhart and Marshall, who are wanted on a first-degree murder warrant, have been travelling without the dog.
Vancouver police said Tuesday Marshall and Chouart may be travelling to British Columbia's Lower Mainland.
Earlier unconfirmed sightings
Toronto Police said Monday there have been unconfirmed sightings of the pair in eastern and northern Ontario.
Police suggested that because they were both from Eastern Canada, Marshall and Chouart may have been headed in that direction.
"We're trying to get more information on our side to help the Toronto police to locate those two people," said Montreal police Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant earlier Tuesday.
Large brown dog in tow
Police describe Marshall as white, six feet tall and 145 pounds, with short hair and blue eyes. He also has a tattoo on the right side of his neck and arm.
Sabrina Chouart is described as white, five foot seven inches tall and thin – weighing about 130 pounds. She has brown hair.
