Montreal police searching for missing 15-year-old girl

Montreal police are asking the public for help in locating a 15-year-old girl after she was reported missing.

Yasmine Deverze was last seen Monday at 10 a.m. in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough. She was on foot, according to a police media release.

Deverze is a Black girl with brown eyes and long black hair which she wears in braids and with a bonnet. She stands five feet four inches tall and weighs around 115 pounds. She speaks English, French and Creole. 

Deverze was last seen wearing a white hoodie, grey t-shirt and sweat pants, and white sneakers. 

Police say anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 911 or contact their local police post.
