Taxi drivers protest as they await news of Uber injunction request
Judge will decide fate of second attempt at Uber injunction tomorrow
Dozens of taxi drivers are protesting outside the Montreal courthouse today as they wait for a judgement on their bid to suspend Uber's activities in Quebec.

—@pascalrobidasThe ride-hailing service and the Quebec government reached an agreement in early September that allows the company to continue operating in the province during a one-year pilot project.
A coalition of taxi industry representatives filed an injunction against Uber last week. That was filed after the industry lost a bid to have an injunction applied against Uber's deal with the government.
Marc-Antoine Cloutier, a lawyer for the taxi industry, argued in Superior Court today that Uber does not have the necessary permits to operate in Quebec.
He also argued that because the pilot project has yet to take effect, Uber shouldn't be allowed to continue operating.
A judgement is expected to come down on Tuesday.
