14-year-old arrested in connection with death of 16-year-old boy in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que.
16-year-old teen was injured during altercation on Thursday

The Sûreté du Québec has arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the death of a 16-year-old boy in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, located roughly 40 kilometres southeast of Montreal.
The victim was Gabriel Mena Cruz, Radio-Canada has learned.
SQ spokesperson Ève Brochu-Joubert said the teen was injured during an altercation involving at least one other person on Thursday evening.
Officers with the local police force were called to the scene at around 10:15 p.m. and quickly put in place a safety perimeter. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Police would not reveal the nature of the victim's injuries, only describing them as "serious."
The suspect or suspects, Brochu-Joubert said, had left the area before police arrived.
The file has since been transferred to the SQ, which says it arrested a teen on Friday just after 8 p.m.
Investigators, technicians from the forensic identification team and a canine unit were in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu on Friday morning as the investigation continued.
