An investigation led by Quebec's anti-corruption unit has resulted in charges against a construction company in Montreal.
The nine charges are in connection with some of the work on the Turcot Interchange in May 2015.
A statement from UPAC says the company, P.A.C. Construction Démolition, did some of the work without a licence.
If found guilty, the company could face fines up to $1.45 million.
The allegations have not been proven.
The $3.7-billion overhaul of the Turcot is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2020.
